The things you learn on TV

A friend of mine (Aykel) and I were talking in our ever-so-lovable-kubo while eating lunch. And of course, how can you eat lunch without a little gossip?

I will blog about my opinions on Chris Mendez on the next entry. I think I need more research before I could voice out my opinions.

But another topic we tackled was the Wilyonaryo scandal.

First, I agree with Aykel. These hosts aren't suppose to be shown on primetime. I know people make mistakes but as a celebrity you're suppose to be responsible for your own actions. You would probably give out messages to whomever admires you. So why do we have rapists and wife beaters as hosts of the noon-time shows?

Subconsciously, people who will watch them would think it's ok to do bad things, crimes even, since these people (hosts) did them before yet they're regarded as the most generous people on earth. I could just do a crime and then give money to the poor and then I will be regarded as a clean person.

That's Bullshit.

I want to insert my comment to the Regine + Oggie relationship. It's Angelina Jolie + Brad Pitt scandal over again. It's makes it look like having an affair is ok as long as you look good together. Pathetic.

Second, why the hell didn't Willie defend his show first. It would have been less scandalous. If he defended the show first, before expressing his "pikon" opinion of Joey de Leon, he could've saved a lot of time and effort.

But of course everyone knows that all of this is simply done to get their ratings up.

Pathetic.
